Shopping: Buckhead & Alpharetta
If you are looking for the perfect place to shop, we recommend living in Buckhead or Alpharetta. Buckhead has Lenox Square and Buckhead Village District. These upscale shopping districts are all you need for the perfect Saturday. Shopping, dinner, ice cream, and an evening cocktail they have you covered. The Buckhead Village District has upscale shops like Hermès, Frances Valentine, Jimmy Choo, and Moncler.
In Alpharetta, the newly built Avalon is the place to go. There is plenty of parking, so you don’t have to worry about moving your car after a few hours. Avalon has a Whole Foods grocery and even apartments. At the Avalon, you can shop at Banana Republic, Chanel, Apple, Free People, Madewell, Pottery Barn, West Elm, and even Tesla. Avalon has their very own Movie Theater, too if you are looking for other ways to spend your evening.
Rural: Woodstock & Cumming
If you are the outdoorsy type, we recommend Woodstock and Cumming. There is plenty of hiking in the area, but it also gives you easy access to reaching the Blue Ridge Mountains, Hiawassee, and the Appalachian Mountains. For closer hikes, check out Indian Seats, Yonah Mountain, or Sawnee Mountain Side Trail. Are you looking for a place to put your boat in? Lake Allatoona is the perfect spot. Whether you want to fish for Bass or relax in the sun, the reservoir is big enough for all of it at 18.77 square miles.
Family: East Cobb & Roswell
We know that family is important and so finding the right place to raise your children is everything. As locals, our top choices are East Cobb and Roswell to raise a family. East Cobb is filled with beautiful parks and family friendly neighborhoods. Within fifteen minutes, you can reach the beautiful Marietta Square and Braves Stadium. On the weekends, come as a family to the Marietta Square farmers market and pick out local groceries for your week. You can also attend a show at the local theatre here at The Strand. Both East Cobb and Roswell give your family easy access to the Chattahoochee river, where you can Shoot the Hooch or rent kayaks and stand-up paddle boards from High Country Outfitters, a Georgia grown outfitting company.

Nightlife: Buckhead & Midtown
Do you love the nightlife? Buckhead and Midtown are perfect for you! These two Atlanta suburbs are well known for their sociable and classy nightlife. We made a list for you of the best bars in Buckhead and Midtown. Our favorite is The Blind Pig’s transformation into the Blind Elf for the holiday season. The hidden bar decorates their dining area during the holidays and offers spirited drinks for the season to help you celebrate! Just make sure to make a reservation beforehand!
